Attention all readers! Find great new authors and enter to win an

Do I have your attention? Good! Continue reading.

One of the biggest issues facing Indie authors today is getting reviews for their self-published books.

Jo Michaels holds an event each year in December to remedy the lack of reviews and to give readers a chance to win great prizes while discovering new authors.

It’s a huge pitch fest!

Last year, authors from all over joined in to pitch their books and win sales and reviews. Not just from Jo, but from tons of readers and bloggers attending the event.

At the core of the event is a huge giveaway for an iPad mini! This benefits all readers because they have a great new way to take their books on the go with any e-reader app.

Rock ‘n’ Roll, Romance, and a Bomb!

Annie is the front woman of a rock ‘n’ roll band, playing sleazy bars and barely making enough money for gas to the next town. So she’s also making deliveries for some old hippie friends of the family. This means there’s no room in her life for a man. Too risky for both him and her.

Then she meets Wes, and her heart goes into a Reggae beat. But he’s an undercover agent hoping to bust her and her hippie friends. Next her gentle but schizophrenic uncle gets pulled into a plot to bomb a Fourth of July parade. Add to her troubles a broke broker now turned kidnapper and a bass player who doesn’t like to think too much.

Annie needs to rescue her uncle, stop the bomb, and get Wes out of her life! But does she really want Wes out of her life?

Author Willow Sanders

Willow-Sanders

Willow Sanders is a native Chicagoan, vegetarian, and lover of big words. She randomly bursts into song and has been known to carry on entire conversations (with those worthy of the challenge) in song lyrics. The same can also be said for movie quotes. She’s quirky and sarcastic and would rather be dancing in the rain than waiting for a storm to pass.

Dirty Little Secret is Willow’s debut novel. The sequel, Secrets of the Heart, is now available!

Who is the girl with the red-soled shoe? A Cinderella she certainly isn’t! A self-proclaimed nerd, twenty four year old Hillary Sloan isn’t the helpless damsel in anyone’s fairy tale. An Ivy League graduate who is hoping to get noticed as she works her way up the corporate ladder, she’s desperate to keep her alcohol fueled night of bad decisions under wraps. But, what about the DJ? Bert “DJ XTC” Morder was on the air at his overnight radio job when an old friend called him and asked to use the bathroom. He had a thing for high-heeled shoes, especially those fancy ones with the red soles Hillary was wearing. A little flirting, a kiss or ten and suddenly the pair found themselves smack dab in the middle of a scandal of epic proportions. How long can their dirty little secret stay under wraps? Hillary and Bert would have loved to keep their tawdry little romp strictly between friends, but there’s the unfortunate incident of the studio’s live stream they have to contend with. Now, all of Chicago is wondering exactly who the girl in the red-soled shoes had been. What other secrets are they hiding, and what will happen when Hillary’s dirty little secret gets exposed?
